Low carb dinner

I wanted to make a fast meal tonight, however I did not want it to be a unhealthy one. Even though the south beach diet phase one is a restrictive one you can find a meal that you just absolutely enjoy. I do not follow phase one but that doesn´t mean it cannot be quite nice and satisfying :) Again the recipe is somewhat modified to what I like of spices, but the general idea is meat, scampi and veggies :)

1/2 green bell pepper sliced
5-6 small mushrooms diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon butter


100g pepper steak


100g raw scampi(about 5-6 shrimp)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 tablespoon lime juice
dry herbs and salt

Peal and butterfly the scampi and marinade in oil, lime juice and spices.

Heat a pan with the oil and butter and start frying the bell peppers and mushrooms with garlic powder. Place the steak in the middle.
Get the shrimp ready on some skewers and then flip steak. When steak is ready place it on a plate to rest with the veggies and put the scampi on the pan, fry on high heat and turn when pink, ONLY turn ones otherwise they will be dry.
